Nationwide Virtual Support
During the last year, many of us have found creative ways to assist growing families all over the country without having to meet in person! COVID-19 has helped Alyssa be able to provide her offerings virtually to those out of state, who often are not allowed a professional support person at their birth according to specific hospital policies. Fortunately, this is not the case currently in Colorado and Doulas are allowed in our local hospitals (phew)!
This entails a total of 6-10 hours of prenatal education to help you prepare for birth (access to a folder of wonderful resources on birth and postpartum preparation), unlimited phone and text communication, and even unlimited support throughout labor. This does include Ayurvedic Nutrition, Breast Care Theory, and Body Care guidance as well! She will then be available to you once you bring baby home. So far, Alyssa has provided Virtual Birth and Postpartum Doula Support to those in the following areas: New York, Chile, Texas, and California!
